| Before you decide whether you need service or not, here are a few helpful hints to save you the cost of a service call. Never attempt to adjust springs, cables, or bottom corner brackets: |

If your garage door won't open:
 |
Check for broken spring or broken cable; if broken, call for repairs.

Disconnect door from operator and open manually. If unable to raise, call for repairs.
|
|
Check to see if door is locked
|
|
Check to see if power is on (check breakers)
|
|
Check to see if door is frozen due to ice check to see if photo eye is aligned (solid light indicates proper alignment) |
|
|
|
If your garage door won't close:
|
Check to see if photo eye is aligned (solid light indicates proper alignment) |
|
If door is misaligned, call for repairs, do not attempt to close |
|
Check to see if power is on |
|
Check force adjustment on operator |
|
|
|
If your transmitter is not working:
|
Check to see if battery needs to be replaced. If not, check the receiver for obvious damage. If unsure, give us a call. |
